We lost power for a couple of days and when it gets dark so early, it is a long time before bedtime.  With a baby that wants to crawl and explore all the time we had to find a way to track her. As a result, a movie was born. (Nov. 24, 2010)

(August 2010)

PAFAC LAND GRAB INSTALLATION VIDEO

This is a video of Heather’s recent installation of the latest incarnation of her work Land Grab.  Its a very cool piece where over a hundred photos are mounted onto plexi-glass and floated in front of the window at the Port Angeles Fine Art Center and all of Puget Sound.  Music is by the Kills.  Please enjoy. (June 2010)

THE TRAVELERS PART ONE:  GETTING OFF THE ISLAND

IB

This is a slide show featuring some structures that I built and installed in my studio and in the landscape. (April 2008)

The Rise and Fall of IB (a rough sketch)

This experimental animation through painting looks at Isolationist Bunkerism from another angle. I imagined doing something like this in the real world and some of my installations reflect that although its yet to be documented with a camera from its rise to its fall as it is here. There was a second half of the video that didn't work out so I had to figure out a different way to conclude it. (May 2008)

DOMESTIC SUBVERSIVE

Another slideshow illustrating some of the perhaps mysterious and sometimes beautiful outcome of daily chores.  It’s that or just a bunch of pictures of dishes. (May 2008)
